PRINT FRIENDLY

Bradfield and Worrall Rural Bus Network
(Highly commended at the Bus Industry Awards 2003):

The comprehensive Bradfield Rural Links bus network was introduced in 2002, by listening to the local communities and working in partnership, this network has improved the lives of those who were once isolated in this rural location. So far passenger numbers have grown by over 160% in less than two years. The network offers:

  • Low-floor, wheelchair accessible buses to increase accessibility
  • Buses that carry bicycles (22 carried in one month of monitoring)
  • Supported by easy access bus stops, cycle parking and innovative bus shelters
  • Provides a comprehensive network, that links to the award winning Hillsborough Interchange
  • Through tickets for concessionary pass travel holders
